Anyone who follows me on twitter will most likely frequently see me tweeting about green tea. I drink it everyday, and several cups of it too. I got James to try it once and he disliked the taste, but I prefer it over any other tea, plus, you don't have to buy milk every week! Not only does it already have a lot going for it, with numerous health benefits, but I also have a little tip of something I also use it for.
I find that in the morning when I feel tired it really helps if after I have made my cup of green tea, I save the teabag (leaving to slightly cool) and apply to my face. It tightens the skin and makes me feel much more awake, so I would recommend this even though it seems a bit crazy. I have also been known to open the teabag and add the leaves to an exfoliator and use it in the shower. All works very well.
On other matters, I got my business cards today with my Facebook Timeline on. I can't believe I got all 50, plus p+p for free! This offer is limited but get yourselves to moo.com and get yours while they last, it really is an offer too good to refuse.
Today I popped into town and it turned out that the 75% off in Boots had just started. The sale section of the store was manic, with one woman in the corner surrounded by about 100 items she had grabbed. I heard a lot of people making comments about her being so greedy and taking most of the things. I luckily managed to pick up 2 of the things I wanted. Two Umberto Giannini (had to look up that spelling!) kits. One had a toiletry bag with it, which I had my eyes on before Christmas and included some deep conditioning treatments which my hair is normally crying out for. The second was the set for curly hair for my mum who worked out it would be cheaper to buy the set than the individual products in store. Both of which were under £3, which is fantastic. I wanted the Fearne Cotton make up brushes, but they didn't have any, which was a shame. But luckily living near a big store (where almost a whole floor was dedicated to the sale) there was quite a good selection.
My dad stopped by today to drop off some things for me on route to his meeting. It was quite a random assortment. A single petri dish, a playsuit I ordered from Debenhams in the sale (Henry Holland and polkadot, pictures tomorrow) limescale remover, a lovely letter from Hannah and underwear!
Well, James is due home any minute and then we have a long walk to the post office as his watch came today while I was out, and it had to be signed for, typical. Hope you all have a good evening!
