Morning all

I'm not feeling too chirpy this morning, and the builders are being noisy next door, but here is just a quick one to show you my new playsuit as promised. 

£17 from Debenhams, (Henry Holland's collection). I saw a playsuit reduced yesterday in River Island but I wasn't sure about the print, so I resisted. However in the current season stock there is a wonderful sailor style one (see below) but at £40, I don't think my pennies will stretch to it.

I tried 5 things on in Zara yesterday and resisted buying any of them, which was no mean feat. Ok well one of them was a black pencil style skirt and I already have one, I just wanted to use it to see what the tops would look like. So make that 4 things.

First one I really liked. I'm looking into getting some basics as I previously blogged about, what with employment round the corner. Reduced to £12.99 and I was very tempted, but the stitching was coming apart at the back so I decided against it. 

This one was reduced to £16.99 and I am a huge fan of pussybow blouses, but it was a little too big. The other tops I tried on were extra small, whereas this was just small. I didn't think it would make too much difference but it felt a bit bulky. I really liked how thick and big the bow fabric was, sometimes in cheaper stores they can be a bit stingy, so I wish they had had this in an XS. 

Lastly (other top not featured as I did not like it) a silky fabric tshirt, it was black and navy and this was probably my favourite, Reduced to £12.99. I really liked the shape and how it sat, perhaps I should have bought it...

Zara had a lot of sale, I was confused at first because there were no reduced signs, but it turned out everything was priced down on the labels. Get yourself down there for some basics, but keep an eye out for rips in the stitching, as I found this to be a case with a lot of things I initially picked up.

I have finally finished all my sales shopping now. So I might do a 'everything I bought in the sale' post to show you. Tomorrow will probably be a good time for this as James is home and can take the pictures for me, save using the self timer.
