Party!

I am feeling the party spirit a bit at the moment as I just got the results from Final Major Project 1, which counts a large amount towards my degree. I got 77% (70 or more is a First) so I am really happy about that. I worked so hard last semester and I am pleased it was noticed! It is very nerve wracking as it is such a subjective course but now it is my final year it is more important than ever to be getting top marks, so I would rather it this way round (grades not as good before but now better) than the other way round!

A while ago you may remember me mentioning a party I went to where the fancy dress theme was game board characters. Well, I have some pictures for you.

The party was for my good friend Sam from uni, he is a film student but no where near as cool as me because he is only 2nd year despite starting the same year as me (he did a foundation year). He gets a bit of a rest from the dissertation pressures, mind. Here he is dressed as Colonel Mustard from Cluedo.

Here the first picture as it was taken initially, with me cropped out thanks to whoever had the camera!

James was a dice, and you can blame the poor costume attire on me. I originally drew it onto a white T-shirt, but it was too long so I trimmed it off at the bottom. Unfortunately my cutting wasn't all that straight and it ended up as a bit of a crop top! So we cut it out and stuck it onto one of James' shirts!

I went as the man from Operation which I thought was pretty clever, until someone else turned up with the same idea! They said I was more sensible though for wearing nude coloured clothes rather than just turning up in shorts!

One of the main features of the party, and indeed Sam's running birthday theme, is buying a 3ft by 6in subway sandwich. Pretty impressive. Except he seemed to buy it with fillings that most people didn't like, great planning!

We were all a bit drunk, and in true student style, on Sainsburys Basics alcohol.
