Victory!

Yay! It is finally done, printed and bound! Last night I finished my final final final (millionth) draft of my dissertation and felt confident enough to go through with printing it today. I went to Staples to do it to avoid the rush of the university library. We only have 5 printers and everyone in third year has their dissertation due in on the same day, so I knew it would be a mad panic in there. Everyone fighting to print their 60 odd pages would not be pretty. Staples on the other hand, no one in there. They printed and bound it for me within half an hour, which me and James spent in the adjacent furniture store laughing at sofas. I decided to push the boat out a bit and get it thermally bound, instead of the plastic comb binding everyone else is getting. Although this is a lot cheaper, I really wanted to give it a bit love after I have spent so long on it! So it looks pretty fancy and cost me about £14 for both, which I don't think is too bad. No changing it now though, I don't think I will look through it in case I find an error. It is due in on the 2nd February, so I don't need to worry about it now at all - apart from handing it  in on time!

James took me out afterwards for a victory KFC, because that is how we roll. We took it back to the flat so we could be civilised and eat it off of plates. For Valentines day we are thinking of going to Nandos. As unromantic as that may seem we both love the food there, and think it will be quiet because we doubt many other couples will celebrate their relationship over peri peri chicken.

Hope you all have a good day!

  3. Well done with your dissertation! Printing is always stressful at our uni too! We have a 'fashion report' instead but I'm dreading it! Its got to be in in a couple of months and I've only just started now! How long did it take you?

    1. Thank you :) well I had from summer last year to do it, but only started working solidly on it from around October, it took about a month just to edit it, of course I didn't work on it a lot of days from working on my final major project. It was nice to hand it in this week! Good luck with your fashion report :) x
